Here is a treat from my good friend Pam Wright, who is a master EFT practitioner/trainer. I have some ambivalence about tapping in general, when it’s used to just “get rid of” emotions and symptoms – how then are we to understand what we need to understand? How do we know what action to take if all we do is get rid of the symptoms?
I like the way that Pam uses EFT and you can use the tapping both to reduce symptoms so that you CAN start to listen to your mind, body and spirit, or you can use it to reduce emotional overwhelm so that you can catch your breath and create the opportunity to understand “Whose is it?” and What do I need to know or do about it?”
In fact, the way that Pam steps you through the Faster EFT process in this video – you may well come out of it already knowing whose it is and what you need to know or do about it.
Grab a piece of paper, pause the video at each of Pam’s questions and write down the answers. Repeat the process by repeating the video on other occasions, to work on ALL the issues raised by Pam’s questions.
In my kinesiology training, we were taught that about 80 % of what causes our physical symptoms is emotional – and NOT, not not of the “pull your socks up, get over it, you’re just making this up” variety! 🙂 Emotional stress causes physical tension causes our organs to function differently in an attempt to keep our bodies in some sort of balance and all this causes very real, physical ailments like arthritis.
Thus when we understand the emotions, we clear up vast amounts of the physical ailments.
