This is the horse who started this journey of mine to re-connect with my feelings, to understand them, how to use them and how to enjoy them and I thought I’d take this opportunity to share my appreciation of him. I said earlier in the program that he had “told” me that it was my job to connect horses and people and get out of the way, because once the humans realized how they were hearing / feeling their horses, the horses could take it from there.
This is the part that makes this program different from anything else in the world.
And it has me just about bursting with excitement, because it’s transforming the weight loss industry into something easier and much, much more joyful.
By bringing the body, mind and spirit back together again with that two weeks of reset and the practicing and exploring that you’re going to be step into now, you can listen to and feel your own body and your own guidance and take it from there for your own unique circumstances.
You don’t need anyone else to tell you what to do.
We’ve been told so much crap about our bodies – what’s good, what’s bad, what we should or shouldn’t do, what time we should or shouldn’t be doing it, what we were or weren’t capable of doing, what is and isn’t possible. Some of it was from vested interests who were selling us something, some of it was genuinely misguided. But it actually doesn’t matter any more, because you’ve got the keys to this Ferrari and the knowhow to drive it YOURself.
And the possibilities are limitless…
It’s time to reflect on what you’ve got.
Pause for a moment and reflect on what you’ve gained in this two weeks reset, what you’ve achieved, what you’ve experienced, what you’ve learned.
And appreciate the heck out of it.
And I mean right now… Pause…
Pay gentle attention to your outward breath
And the way that the lower part of your ribs just squashes the last bit of breath from your lungs
But you’re not doing that on purpose, you’re just noticing the movement of the ribs on the outward breath
and for another breath
and another.
Smile a little and let your mind wander around everything that’s happened in the reset
Even smile at the stuff ups and the learning from them
Notice what that smiling feels like in your body
And appreciate the heck out of your reset.
