My notes for the seminar.
Ahhh the topic today is a BIG one – energetically at least!
Willingness is the first thing I thought of when I started to mull over this subject. We have to be willing to listen to our inner guidance system in order to notice those Not Quite Rights as something to take action on.
Being Present enough to notice our Not Quite Rights – and being Present has come in layers for me and everyone I’ve known personally.
The vacuum cleaner can be going too loud, so we actually don’t notice the telephone ringing in all that noise. That’s when we have so many other Not Quite Rights happening elsewhere in our lives, that we don’t notice the ones with our horse.
Commitment to taking action on Not Quite Rights is another. Because every Not Quite Right we ignore, makes a louder and louder noise.
Old conditioning – we can have been pushing through for so long that we don’t even notice.
Beliefs – Ooo this is a big one hey? Can you feel it? What beliefs do you think would have us pushing through our Not Quite Rights?
Through all of these reasons for us that we push through our Not Quite Rights, our horse has the ability to yell at us to be heard. And they yell in all kinds of different ways, the most common being with their behavior. So perhaps the most important part of this discussion is not that we’ve pushed through our Not Quite Rights, but that we don’t blame our horse when they have to yell at us.
Making ourselves wrong for too long, isn’t useful. Like guilt if we get stuck in it for too long, it gets in the way of actually changing. It’s like living in a bog of Not Quite Right, that clouds our Feel.
Judging others for being wrong for too long does exactly the same thing. It also, is like living in a bog of Not Quite Right that clouds our inner guidance system.
Getting bogged in despair at what’s happening, without looking to notice what’s REALLY going on – that also, is like living in a bog of Not Quite Right that clouds our inner guidance system.
And above all – life’s a journey right? So getting better and better at following our feelings and listening to our Not Quite Rights is in itself part of the journey.
What other things can you can think of that stops us from listening or taking action on our Not Quite Rights?
Do a Quiet Mind on whatever priority is clouding our inner guidance system.
I meant to put this photo in last seminar. It’s Shelly, new on Fast Track, visiting Australia (I think she lives in San Diego) and taking the opportunity to call in here and say g’day. Pictured here with our Sunny. It was lovely to meet her! She’s a reiki master too if my memory serves me correctly.
Brags – I’ve noticed quite a few brags since our last seminar, but I haven’t asked any of them permission to share yet, so let’s see if we can persuade them to share with you themselves. Catherine had some big progress with Bumblebee, Felicity had an ENORMOUS one with Woody, Kim’s had some lovely things happening in lock down as she and her husband have been out walking their horses, Frances had a big deal with her little Gypsy – come on Frances spill in the chat room – I saw the photos! And I watched Carolyn over the other side of Victoria here, make a breakthrough with her guy in a video lesson. Anneke had a problem and that turned out to be a breakthrough for her with Skjoni.
AND … I just got word from Joyce in the U.S. – that’s Joyce with Safar the grey arabian from the heal your horse’s back clinic a few years ago – it’s her mother’s 100th birthday on the 24th of this month. Happy birthday Joyce’s Mum. We’ve been sending each other regards for so long now, that I feel like I know her even though we’ve never met or even spoken!
I’ll leave you with some writing from Carolyn Myss. It’s not about horses per se, but I think that our horse work has uniquely prepared us for this time in history:
“We have been in preparation within ourselves and within this whole journey of transformation to discover our capacity to influence our reality. To take charge. To create a world that maybe we’ve envisioned but we haven’t really put our shoulders into. We haven’t really gone after with the force of our soul the way we now can.
The world is going to start over again and we have the opportunity to make it a more humane place. We need a more balanced, humane system. We need a more honorable government. We need people to come first. We don’t get to that place without a crushing transformation. We need to know how to awaken that power in ourselves. As overwhelming as it is for each person, it is this experience in which we discover how truly empowered we are. You don’t discover that you really influence your reality until you really need to do it.”
