Now I’ve finished my reset and I’m learning how to listen to my body and exploring what’s right for me in any given moment and what’s not, I’ve made “mistakes.” You will have heard me in my horse work talking about that there’s no such thing as a mistake, just something that didn’t work and this is pretty much the same.
We almost need to re-define “mistake” as something to actually enjoy reflecting on and learning from and allowing ourselves to notice how to do it better next time. Gosh that makes me smile – appreciating mistakes wasn’t the way I was raised but it sure as heck does make it easier to notice what we should do differently!
Anyway, this little video sequence is me stuffing it up and NOT needing to reset, stuffing it up and NEEDing to reset and stuffing it up and it going straight to a pain in my bones. Since my reset has finished, sometimes I crave something sweet and it’s enjoyable and sometimes I did something without listening to myself and it was a mistake that I’ve learned from. It turns out it’s ALL about listening to myself. Gee whizz – what a surprise – derrr!
Just remember that my circumstances are unique and yours will be different.
