Your Feel is such an important part of your Fast Track, such an important part of speeding up the changes that we’re looking for and at the same time slowing down and enjoying the feel good stuff, that we’re going to take advantage of every opportunity to remind you of these five ways of feeling and how you can apply them.
Whenever you’re working with your horse, think about ALL these ways that you may be Feeling that early warning signal that something is Not Quite Right, so you can take action on it.
Notice any physical tension increasing, a discomfort or pain that suddenly appears or gets worse. Notice your breathing getting harder or faster, heartbeat getting faster, emotions coming up, your mind worrying about something, stuck crappy feeling energy – and back off if any of those ways of feeling pop up – physically take steps backwards AT ALL THESE WAYS OF FEELING YOUR EARLY WARNING SIGNAL THAT SOMETHING IS NOT QUITE RIGHT…
…and wait for your horse to lick and chew, process, yawn and release.
p.s. You’re not going to be physically backing off forever. When the time is right and you’re Present, you’ll be able to simply pause and observe with curiosity (probably in the same moment) and know what you have to know or do or change in that instant.
In the meantime, physically stopping what you’re doing, dropping into your outward breath, quietening your mind and opening your heart to solve a problem without making anyone or anything wrong and being curious about what’s REALLY happening here, will get you more and Present and make problem solving more and more easy.
