About Kim I am a shamanic practitioner specialising in one:one or remote (distance) work with horses and their human companions.
Shamanic practice offers a different concept in how we heal and sustain relationships with our horses (in fact all our animal companions). All animals have souls and we are all connected at the soul level, so to connect at that level offers us access to a greater understanding of them – a chance to see the world through their eyes – and understanding can bring about healing.
We can suffer trauma, stress, and loss during our lives – and so can they. They will also respond to our emotional states, especially those we try to suppress or deny.
So my work centres around acting as a bridge between their world and ours, so that together we may work towards their healing and a rebuilding of a close, harmonious, truly balanced relationship between you.
I actively encourage the human companion to be a part of this process; and often shamanically support them in tandem as they deepen into the work with their horse…..

I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse with 21 years experience in mixed practice; although I am no longer active in this world.
I have a foundation degree in Equine Science and Complementary Therapies gained from Reaseheath College, Cheshire, United Kingdom.
I am a partner at the Broadmeadow Holistic Centre, Leebotwood, Church Stretton, Shropshire. SY6 6NQ We take horses for remedial and respite care; for retirement or grass livery.
Our ethos is based around providing a safe, grounded and peaceful environment, where the horse is always looked upon and treated as an individual on all levels – its wellbeing being paramount. Most of all we offer time and space for them to heal and grow…
We will happily work with other professionals to ensure truly holistic approach.
We also offer a range of events and workshops designed to assist those who are just entering the world of energetic connection and its meanings to understand how this my enhance their whole lives and those of their horses – to include healing modalities; therapies; training tools and techniques; self awareness and so on
My work is not confined completely to horses for shamanism is my life and so anyone who needs help, whether it be an individual, an animal or the land all are equally welcome.
I also can help design a meaningful ceremony or ritual- for they are important aspects at key times in our lives and those of our animal companions; especially so for the dying or after death. To mindfully and respectfully be a part of this process, honouring the soul that is taking or has taken its last and greatest journey is a privilege.
