I slipped irrelevant fear into the last page, without enough drumrolling, so we’re fixing that now with another beautiful horse and his galloping hoofbeats.
We’ve already gotten curious about “Is it really true that old buried fears intensify any new fear – making it bigger and stronger and harder to deal with than it needs to be?”
We’ve already gotten curious about the truth or not of “some of the fear we experience isn’t ours.”
Now we’re asking you to get curious, “Is it really true that vast amounts of our old buried fears are irrelevant now, because the reason for the message has long gone and there’s nothing to know or do about it any more?”
And more smiley curiosity – is it really true that simply noticing and breathing into that fear – open to the idea that we may be experiencing someone else’s fear in our connection to others – is enough for it disappear?
pfft!
And it’s that easy?
Can we really deal with layer after layer of old fear that easily, with nothing to know or do about it except notice what we’re feeling in any given moment, breathe, bring curiosity to it and feel it disappearing?
Is it really true that some of that pent up anxiety and even the dread that causes panic attacks and sometimes paralyses us – is actually irrelevant now and will also just disappear as we notice, breathe and bring curiosity to it?
Holyshitisthatreallytrue?
If all that’s true, it makes the “understanding fear” thing a whole lot easier doesn’t it?
The photo: The prince or princess on the white horse coming to the rescue, is within us. We are riding to our own rescue. With that openness and curiosity about each experience of fear and “whose fear is it?” we can relax into the guidance of our fear, knowing that the irrelevant will melt away and when there IS something to know or do about our fear – for or about ourselves or someone else – the answer will flow from that curiosity, in perfect time.
