What happens if you’re busy noticing things to appreciate and you feel inside yourself to say thank you for something and there’s a feeling that pops up that DOESN’T feel good?
In our desire to be positive with such a beautiful philosophy as active appreciation, don’t get sucked into ignoring the “negative” feelings, the crappy ones. They are just as important, maybe even more important as guidance to what we are creating.
It’s the same as any other crappy feelings we experience – it just means there’s something to notice, something to do, something to pay attention to, something to get curious about. There’s an opportunity for some serious joy here as we create something better.
In our gorgeous connection to others the same Magic Questions will pop up here too:
- Whose crappy feeling is it?
- What do you need to know or do about it?
The relevant and irrelevant feelings of old buried stress and tension also apply here. So you can smile like Lua, because paying attention and being open to the understanding may be all that you need to do for the old irrelevant feelings to pffft! disappear and for the intensity of the feelings to disappear with them.
Photo: Yeah I’m smiling with Lua too and taking a moment to actively appreciate her and the other animals in my life. Quirky photo of her dog by my dear friend Dianne Leitch.
