Oh you thought I forgot anger? Oh no nono no nooo…. I didn’t forget it at all. Anger is the most wonderful part of drawing all these threads of creation together. Did you ever watch that cartoon cat when you were a kid – that cat with the wheezing kind of “tee hee heee”? Or was it a dog? Whatever it was, picture me at my desk rubbing my hands together with excitement and going “tee hee heee!”
Who would have thought that anger would turn out to be the most useful of the divine creations?
There’s a pure kind of anger that runs from the heart – that’s the key right there, it runs from THE HEART. It comes from caring deeply about something. It comes from a willingness to understand this person or animal or circumstance that is making us feel such anger. It’s a knowing and understanding of ourselves and others that is filled with unconditional love in its desire to create something better or change something we care deeply about.
When THAT anger is engaged, THAT kind of anger moves mountains and changes the course of rivers.
And yes that was a metaphor for the sheer power of heart anger as a divine energy for change, but who knows, maybe it really could move mountains and change the course of rivers lol!
Who would have thought the secret to joyfully creating something better would be found in anger? See you tomorrow to start talking about that!
