Herbal Medicine – Equine/animal/human supplements
Qualifications: Tertiary Horse Management (Sydney TAFE completed 1991) Naturopathic Herbalist/Iridologist – (Dip Herb Med completed 1994 (Dorothy Hall), Natural Fertility Management Counsellor (Francesca Naish 1996)
I became an Equine herbalist when there was no such qualification in 1994. I studied to become a human herbalist and then translated the knowledge to my equine knowledge – at that time there were about three Equine Herbalists in Australia.
I specialise in equine lameness related injuries, arthritis, ligament and tendon damage, age related wear and tear and laminitis.
I’m passionate about horses, I breed and ride quarter horses as does my whole family.
I have been providing natural health remedies to people, their animals and specifically horses for nearly 20 years.
I give free telephone consultations and have a vast amount of knowledge on all things related to natural health.
I am currently intensely interested and commencing to study equine acupuncture. IF I cannot help you I will know someone who can and will point you in that direction!
I am passionate about exposing rip offs in equine health products – and ensuring you get value for money. In recent times I have undertaken many comparative analyses of common equine supplements to expose “overpriced ineffective money wasters” that hide behind good marketing, and I love assisting people to find those that are good value for money and ways for animal lovers to “do it cheaper and more effectively” i.e. why pay for branding and no – you cannot believe what a lot of equine supplement advertisers tell you!
Ask questions, ask for the scientific evidence, ask for the break down of label ingredients per dose – the answers may surprise you!
I am happy to review what you are using now and find ways to save you money and get you and your animals better health results.
