Our Retreats are a mixture of healing for horse and person, personal and spiritual growth and horsemanship – all in the context of dreaming, sleeping and breathing horses for 7 beautiful days with beautiful like minded people and oh the people who are already coming are gorgeous and I am looking forward to a wonderful time! 🙂
Each clinic is unique in that it flows in response to people’s needs in the clinic.
We work on ways to help our horse heal and to keep them healthy: This includes the life changing, expansive, joyful healing opportunities that happen repeatedly within the horse-human relationship. Other options are different levels of Reiki attunements for those who haven’t had them, Bowen muscle therapy, simple acupressure, pendulum work if appropriate and whatever else comes up as best for each individual horse and person out of my extensive skill set.
We expand our Feel for our horse by working on our personal and spiritual growth to be more Present: The more authentic and centered WE are, the more our connection to our horse improves automatically. I’ve seen this over and over again – it’s such an easy way to progress our horsemanship. 🙂 If you’re interested in it, we learn how to use our Reiki for personal growth if that’s appropriate for the individual – biggest of all HOW to expand to a whole new level of both our consciousness and our happiness.
We improve our horsemanship by expanding our Feel for our horse, by expanding our knowledge and techniques, by understanding how to deal with “problems” so that they become the opportunities they invariably are :). We learn HOW to encourage the magnificence of the individual horse to flow and yet be and feel safe ourselves. We improve our our riding seat in simulations and on the horse if your horse is up to inviting you to ride.
Those who come in from overseas, can arrive two or three days before the Retreat, to get to know their horse in more depth – at a reduced rate.
Riders $1250 includes a bed on the floor here in a very convivial atmosphere – a non refundable deposit of $500 secures your place. (Deposits are able to be used for anything in the shop or any other clinic, with no time restrictions.)
Fence-sitters $750 with $300 deposit required to secure a place. There is VERY limited fence-sitting for the Retreat, as fence-sitters have an extraordinary contribution to the clinic. 🙂
Horse yards next door at $15 per day, camping if you prefer.
