I’m looking for a new working student / intern – either locally or internationally – short or long term.
There’s three possibilities that will suit:
1. It could be someone from a long way away who lives here for a few months to a year, who becomes part of the family. I reckon I could go just about anywhere in the world now and find a family member! I’ve had some of the BEST working students over the years, like Kristina in the picture here and MaryAnne who both stayed a year. 🙂
It’s usually someone who’s interested in both the horse and the healing work. They work 4 hours a day around the farm, doing all kinds of farm jobs in return for mostly organic board and keep and I teach a little most days and a lot, more occasionally. They would get to do their Reiki levels, learn Bowen muscle therapy, maybe some kinesiology if that interests them and all the horse relationship work with one or more of my horses. They also get to do any clinics that happen here and sit in on lessons where appropriate.
2. Or it could be a student who wants to plan a holiday here that co-ordinates a more intense week or so of learning here with my horses for free, in return for looking after the farm and animals for a couple of weeks in February.
3. Or it could be someone more local, who comes in for regular horse/learning time in exchange for work and is available to live in here for two weeks in February.
I’m open to all possibilities that will give me someone competent and trustworthy, that the animal family likes, to be staying here when I’m away from home.
