How useful will it be to have a world wide list of alternative therapists specialising in horses and riders?
Most of us know someone who has had fabulous results with some kind of alternative, holistic approach to healing of the mind, body and emotions. Horses and riders have particular needs, so my idea is to create this list that makes it easy for people to find someone in their area that specialises in meeting those needs.
Masseurs, muscle therapists, homeopaths, naturopaths, kinesiologists, acupuncturists, reiki healers, energy healers of all persuasions, Bowen muscle therapy practitioners of all persuasions, chiropractors, Shiatsu, TTeam, animal communicators – whether you do Bach flower remedies for horses and people, herbs, aromatherapy, Feldenkrais, acupressure, cranio-sacral therapy, allergy testing – WHATEVER – welcome to this world wide list of practitioners who specialise in alternative solutions to health issues for horses and riders. Vets who do alternative therapies specialising in horses are welcome too.
It’s completely free to list your business and that won’t ever be any different.
Email me on the contact form at the top of the page with the following information and I will add you to my list:
- Name and country
- The geographical area that you work in
- Email address –
- Phone number for people to contact you.
- Modalities / what you do
- Qualifications if you want to, even if you’re training at something you’re welcome to go up on the list, you just need to tell people that and let me know when you have qualified so I can change the listing.
- And also if you want to, make it more than just factual – add a short paragraph from your heart about what you are passionate about, what you are good at, what you are interested in – really take the opportunity to sell yourself. Maybe send me the factual details first and come back to me with this if you need some time to think. Get your listing up straight away…
Get this information to me as soon as possible and let’s get this list happening!

I wonder if you accept practitioners of other languages. I was about to send your link to Quebec horse alternative practitioners, but I know many of them are French-speaking. Should I send your link to them? Thanks, Cynthia

G’day Cynthia. I won’t be able to read it and correct it, so it needs to be already proof read & in the right order, i.e name, location (must say the country so I know what listing to put it under), email, phone, what they do, passions. Can you emphasise that please? Thiosis a fabulous direction for this idea – thanks!

I have completed a thesis on Equine Healing in psychotherapy and am now giving guided rides in the pine forest for any age, as long as they can get on our horse, Flee, a thoroughbred. This forest is on Neaves Road in Wanneroo, Perth region. I can be contacted on facebook Marcia Helene Hewitt

This is such a GREAT IDEA…. thank you for making it happen!
I have been a trainer for over 23 years, working with horse’s in a “Natural” approach, using energy with intention & TTouch. For the horse and/or rider that is nervous and disconnected I have used “Essential Oils” with great success. I have received my 2nd level Reiki and am amazed to see the horse position it’s self where it needs the healing energy. I have just started up a Horse Tack Website offering several lines of Natural Horse Care Products and will be adding more as I am able to locate suppliers.
