Anxiety, dread and even debilitating panic attacks, are “just” a whole heap of suppressed and buried fears that are sitting there in your subconscious still – many of which have messages and connections to people and maybe even to animals, that aren’t even relevant any more. Your ability to deal with them easily is coming….
Let’s set you up with a 30 second inner awareness exercise to deal with fear and anxiety, if the answer isn’t yet flowing in the moment. Then next page we’ll give you a longer Quiet Mind and technique to deal with some of the more stubborn stuff.
I think you know the drill by now – read this slowwwwlyyyy and feel into my words as you read.
Paying gentle attention to your next outward breath and the way that the lower part of your ribs just … squash the breath from your lungs.. And you’re not doing that on purpose, you’re just noticing the movement of your ribs on the outward breath.
And the next breath
And the next breath
Now smile just a little on another breath. That’s right, we’re still putting that lovely little oh so useful smile in there.
For another breath
And another breath
And feel into these words:
Whose fear is it?
Feeling the outward breath as you just get curious about whose fear this is.
and another breath
and another breath
And is there anything for you to know or do about that fear? For yourself or someone else?
Feeling the outward breath still, as you just get curious – could there be anything for you to know or do for yourself or someone else?
sweetly curious and another outward breath…
still curious and another outward breath…
If the answer doesn’t flow in this 30 second “pause and get curious”, then I’ve got a full Quiet Mind exercise for you coming up – and even more support systems after that for anyone that needs them.
