I remember a few decades ago the Sceptic Association said they’d pay a million dollars to anyone who could prove that homeopathics worked. I was so excited – I could prove it to them and get a million dollars! Woohoo! I’d just saved 53 pups with homeopathic medicine who were dying of Parvo after a traveling vet had broken a vial of live virus in the puppy school when he was vaccinating.
With the kind of validation I routinely experienced with homeopathic medicine, I thought this million dollars was a shoo-in.
Ha! Little did I know their “proof” involved putting the homeopathic medicine in a petrie dish with whatever it was they were trying to disprove. This was errr 26, 27 years ago, so don’t hold me to it, I think it was a bacteria. Homeopathic medicine doesn’t work like that, (incidentally most pharmaceutical meds don’t work like that either – so their sceptical million dollars was safe.
I’ll tell you the full story of those puppies one day – it’s a ripper of a story – but today I thought you might enjoy this 6 minute excerpt from a homeopathic seminar where I was talking about my mare Sunny who had been snakebit just a few days before the seminar.
Our photo today was taken after the first dosages of homeopathics, when the swelling had visibly gone down.

This video was taken straight after the second series of 3 doses, 3 hours after I discovered her staggering around with an elevated heart rate, distressed breathing and a swollen nose. I actually have a base tiger snake homeopathic that I made from the venom a snake catcher milked for me, but in this case there wasn’t time to make a homeopathic by hand, she was rapidly deteriorating.
This second video was taken the next day – maybe a little quieter than usual, but pretty much a normal horse.
Wonderful, Jen. Homeopathy is and has been for the last 20 years our go to medicine for our animals and ourselves.
Very successfully too, hey. I remember you helping me with a big situation!
Wow!! Love it !
I’m glad you enjoyed it Marilyn!
