Ahhh my old friend Mental Feel. There’s been times when my brain has been so darned busy, it would have been impossible to get to sleep if I hadn’t cultivated reading myself to sleep as a child. The gift that this way of feeling is when we have a handle on it is… picture me shaking my head with wonder… we really can solve the problems of the world and be in inner peace while we’re at it.
Just like all the other ways of feeling, we feel our connection to others through both the creative, imaginative side AND the chronic worrying and the constant imagining of catastrophes that is our Mental Feel in overwhelm.
The practical application of this is enormous and we’re going to talk more about that later, but for now, if you have a worry that’s driving you nuts and you think that your wonderful imagination is too often negative, you could just get curious:
- You could get curious about whether that’s true or not – that you may be experiencing some of these worries and imagination as part of YOUR inner guidance system about other people or even animals – and is that the source of your worry overwhelm?
- Are you curious to know what the message of those worries might be? What is it that you need to know or do for yourself? For or about someone else?
- ALLOWING the answers is the key to the resolution of those worries – which will flow to you at the perfect time, whether that’s now or later.
And if you’d like a hand with that or if you’re just impatient because there’s a better faster way, you might like to bring that curiosity along with your worries, into a live event and experience the truth for yourself.
The photo of her dog in the chaotic reflection is Julia’s artistic work. She’s part of our lovely horse community from Western Australia. I thought it was a great metaphor for the chaos with which our mind can seem clouded.
