Gosh pulling all the threads of this together in a way that you can check out the truth of or not for yourself, necessitates a little bit of repeating myself – or a lot!
The words in the diagram “When the fierce love of heart anger is engaged, added to the guidance of all the other feelings behind it, it can move mountains and change the course of rivers.”
“Or we can struggle – still stuck in anger, frustration, guilt, envy, jealousy, shame, sadness grief and fear – thinking life’s hard or tough or unfair or that the world’s an awful place – not realizing the potential that we have to change those things that we most care about.”
All the other emotions intensify into anger if we stuff them down for long enough. All the crappy feeling anger, all the stuck pent-up explosive anger, the deep bubbling resentment anger, the stuff we’ve driven deep into our bodies because “we didn’t dare to look at it” anger – these are all really other emotions and other feelings that have intensified into anger.
And because we didn’t understand that all our feelings are messages from our own Inner Guidance system on how to change what we most care about and how to create something new, then this stuck anger that’s not really anger at all, is actually blocking us from changing or creating that which we most care about.
