
Pick something from your Care Factor list to have a play with – one of those things that you care enough to create or change, that you thought about at the beginning of the book.
This experience will take a minute or two these first times, but very soon it’ll be a lot faster than 30 seconds and as your own truth flows, you’ll have the understanding and release of crappy feelings that you’re looking for in less than a split second.
Remember, that each of us has our unique experience of Feel, with one or more ways of feeling stronger than others and all of us different. So let’s check out if Emotional Feel is part of your natural talent or not.
When you’ve chosen one thing you care about to create with today, slow down as you read the following words slowly and deliberately. Yeah “slowly” is a key here! 🙂
Pay gentle attention to your outward breath for a few breaths.
That’s it… feel me smiling… reading sloooowwww…. and at the same time notice the way that the lower part of your ribs flex inwards on that outward breath – the way that the ribs just kind of squash the air from your lungs. And you’re not doing that on purpose, you’re just noticing as you breathe out…
… and another breath…
… and another breath…
Still with your gentle attention on your outward breath, notice what changes on the inside of you when you smile with your eyes a little. Just notice the effect of that smileyness for a breath and if you can’t quite notice it yet, then just imagine that you can.

You already have tucked into the back of your mind that not all the feelings that you feel are yours. You might not know if that’s true or not yet, but it’s coming.
There’s no need to try and get the answer to the Magic Questions either, they’re also tucked in the back of your mind. The answer or the understanding or the message about whose it is and what you need to know or do about it, will come all by itself with just the curiosity.
We’re only looking for smiley curiosity here, nothing else.
Still with your smiling attention on your outward breath…
Now think about that thing that you care about and notice what changes in your body. Paying gentle smiley attention to what’s happening inside you as you allow your mind to drift around this thing that you care about. Noticing and being curious about whatever changes when you think about that thing that you care about.
The understanding or message of any feelings or emotions that come up, will flow now or later, with just the curiosity alone.

Just curiosity about whatever feelings come up – particularly noticing any emotions – knowing that the answer or understanding of this change place will flow, now or later and that you’re already one step closer to creating or changing that thing that you care about.
Holy shit is that really true?
Ahhhh… curiosity… is it really true that this simple exercise has taken you one step closer to creating or changing that thing you care about?
When you’ve finished being curious about each feeling that comes up, have a wriggle and a stretch and a walk around the room, feeling the way that your feet are flexing through their whole range of motion as you walk. You might think this exercise was too simple and short to be powerful, but don’t be surprised if you hear the sound of joints realigning.

These seem like simple exercises but they can trigger significant healing and sometimes people can need to pause to allow that to finish processing. Drink plenty of water afterwards too!
