Yes. When you understand fear, how it works and what to do about it, you can feel good even at a time like this.
You horse people working with me are so blessed, because we’ve had such good practice with our horses. We KNOW that helping another to feel safe (aka our horses), helps US to feel safe too. We KNOW that while we’re helping another to BE and FEEL safe, that the pressure comes off us and the action that we need to take for ourselves to be and feel safe will come to our minds more easily.
And we KNOW that when we understand what to know or do about our fear, then “zip” “pfft” or whatever word sound you like to use, the fear just disappears.
We KNOW that when we quieten our mind, all of that understanding comes sooo… much easier.
We KNOW all this…
You may or may not have been applying that principle deliberately to the rest of your life yet, but it’s time. If there’s ever been a time for making a bit of an effort to learn how to feel good, it’s right now. (Yes that’s my dry Aussie understatement coming up!) If you haven’t seen the Key to the Kingdom of Horses video yet, you’ll watch Dawn in action learning EXACTLY this principle of feeling good by helping another to feel safe – with the traumatized little wild horse Joe.
And you’ll hear her spontaneously burst out with the key to feeling good at a time like this.
I’ll look forward to hearing in the comments about all the ways that you can think of, to help another to feel safe at the moment.
I’ve taken the need to register your email off this video, but I’ve put the option below, so that you can hear about the On Line Live Events as they come up. If the video starts going slow on my website, just get your mouse to the bottom right hand side of the video screen and open it up on Youtube instead.
And come back here to register for the Live Event.
